Has anyone heard of the home decor line Rae Dunn? It’s really collectible. I had never heard of it until a year ago. I like some of the stuff. People will wait outside the stores until they open and will grab anything they think is collectible. They then will sell it on eBay for tons of money. It’s like the beanie baby craze. I have seen coffe canisters orginally selling for $15 on EBay for $100 with 30 people bidding on them.

I have a few pieces. Mostly bowls for my animals. But I have a bowl that says ramen on it and another bowl that says Mine. I only buy stuff I genuinely like and that I will use.

The Halloween stuff is coming out. I really want some of it. I don’t think I’ll be able to get any. I have heard that the holiday stuff doesn’t even make it out of the employees hands before a customer will grab it. Maybe I’ll see some other Halloween plates that are a different brand. Maybe this whole craze will die down by next year.

I haven’t heard of it. I tend to find out about stuff after the craze is over though. But now that you’ve mentioned it I will end up seeing it everywhere. I’m gonna go google it now.

I went looking for the Halloween plates this morning as soon as the store opened. I didn’t have any luck. I think it’s a lost cause. However, I found some 4th of July plates on clearance for $8. So maybe that’s my solution. Wait until after the holiday. Sometimes stores get holiday stuff a week or so after the holidays.

I have no issues using holiday stuff year round.

Yes! Rae Dunn does minimalist decor. It's soothing. Simplicity. I love the bunk beds with stairs...wish I could afford one.

So I went to the store today to look at the Rae Dunn. There were several women looking at the stuff. I looked briefly and then went to look for something else. I decided to go and get the set of mugs I wanted. Some lady was looking and then she stepped away. I picked up the mugs and put them on top of the other things I was buying. She gave me this weird look, then walked away and looked back at me.

I feel bad now. I didn’t know if she was going to get them or what. She walked away though. I wish I had asked her if she wanted them.

Sheesh, don't feel bad! That's how it goes with shopping.
