I already was what I wanted to be after I got my degree.....a computer firmware design engineer. Still appreciate my technical abilities.

But now tired & retired on my farm far away from where I was.....I want to actually get my farm put together....fenced for my horse & a solid chicken coop for chickens so that the raccoons I care for from out if my woods eon't be able to get to them.

Might like to raise a cow or two & maybe some goats for milk, cheese, & butter.

While at the same time there isva university 10 minutes from my farm where I want to get my masters in theology. Have no idea what I might use it for but I just want to learn.

I'd like to be actually good at drawing and get to play with kitties all day for a job without having to worry about if I'll be able to pay bills and even able to pay off all my debt. I'd also like to be "normal" in my head and not have to deal with this MI crap. Most importantly, I'd want to feel loved, ideally by a good guy who could appreciate me and who I could spoil with love in return and he'd be my best friend.

Edit: Oh! I almost forgot. I'm really fascinated with the paranormal, so I would love to actually be able to find proof no one could deny that these things actually exist, or disprove them once and for all.

I wanted to get married and play in a band that I can write music for and occasionally tour with. Apparently, both are impossible because they both involve meeting the right people and the right people don't exist.

I'm torn between two dream scenarios:

Forensic pathologic with a beautiful library at home.

Or

Hermit living in the woods in a tiny house where no one could find me.

You? A recluse? I don’t see that!

I once had the most beautiful library. Shelves custom-made. A lovely and huge ‘partner’s desk’ from the 19th century.

Ya know; it was fine to be a wealthy spendthrift.

‘Forensic pathologist,’ hey? Alrighty, then!

I fell in love with the idea of having a library the first time I watched beauty and the beast. I would want a chess set and fire place there as well.

As for the recluse, I could totally do it. I love the series "life after humans" as it looks like heaven.

But I don't believe that will happen... :-(

What I always wanted was a ‘walk-in’ fireplace like I first saw in England as a very young child — my Dad, at 6’4” could literally walk into the space.

My beautiful library had a much, much smaller fireplace and no grand chess set. On a tourist visit to Biltmore — the huge home built by, but never occupied (?), a Vanderbilt in North Carolina — one artifact on display was a chess set originally crafted for and owned by Naploean. I think that after seeing that every set paled in comparison!

Hmm. After coming out of my long isolation I believe that I’m happier amongst my fellows now, more than ever. I’ve an entirely different perspective on my need for socialization of late and as cruel as others can be I’ve been swept away by how very kind (I’ve been overusing that word lately!) they can, inexplicably, be.

Okay if anything was possible I'd love to buy myself a Tahlton bear dog. these were spita type dogs with a tail that looked like a fuller brush. They hunted bears in packs but were gentle with humans, Unfortunately they are extinct. Originally a dog that was bred by the Tahltan people , a native people in Northern Canada.
Thanks for this!

I would like to get my TV shows I deleted off the DVR. I really wish I had not done that. Not to mention it turned out to be unnecessary. I had plenty of room.

Also If it was possible I would like to know the ending to the TV show Moody’s Point. It left on a major cliff hanger, and except for a couple big things, it’s the only thing I truly dwell on and can’t let go. I know it’s just a TV show, but still.

If I could be anything... I'd be a (successful) TV writer!

Yeah, I know (*eyerolls*, right?) But, you get to make up fun stuff. Make characters say silly or dramatic things that you could never say in real life.
Get paid well. Work in a team to figure out the story arc for each season. I've read from some writers that they'll actually take the writing team and act out things, to see if they think it would work (which sounds insanely fun to me!).

Plus, if you do well and move up, you get to create your own show and be a showrunner, which sounds insanely stressful, but really cool. (Compared to my office job where if I do really well, somebody might want me to become a team lead - gasp! - or a manger, neither of which is particularly fun or interesting!) The showrunner is in charge of *everything*, like the CEO for a TV show - they get to pick who directs the episodes, direct the storylines, hire their writing team, hire the people who do costumes and lighting, etc.

(This is different than in movies. In movies, the writer writes a script - but then the director takes over and makes all the big decisions. sometimes the script is given to another writer to edit! TV writers get to "own" a lot more of the process!)

I also kind of love TV... more than I should I bet it would be a blast as a career!
Thanks for this!

My husband, who lives in a large house 1 mile from me, has 30,000+ books inside of his house. No, I am not joking. The books are neatly placed in boxes, which are then stacked floor-to-ceiling, in every possible space in the house, save for the tiny space in the kitchen where he sits to have meals. Another 25,000 books are in storage. For eleven years we have sold books online. The business pays some bills, for sure. But there is no room for me in my husband's house. Luckily for him, he's very thin .
