I did at work about 10 years ago. I shared a computer with an officemate - I ran a cafe and didn't need to be on it all day so we had just one computer in the office. That was before windows 7 that allows a switch user function.

But does anyone with a significant other give that person their password?

I do sometimes give my passwords out to things, usually all for valid reasons

like, I'll give my password to the computer engineer to fix a problem with my PC, and once when my computer was down, I gave someone my amazon password so they could order something for me

but with that said, I always change the passwords afterwards so that they can't use it at their will

I also think it's really impoertant to give out my passwords to someone I trust for when I die, so they can come on and let people know. I wouldn't want to just vanish from my websites without anyone knowing what had happened to me

I gave my husband my phone unlock code and we have some shared passwords, like the one to the wireless.

But I never found anyone I could trust. The office mate turned out to be a pathologically lying backstabber. No one is ever getting any of my passwords.

No....I live alone & my doggies wouldn't know what to do with a password if I gave any to them (eat it )

I do everything on my phone now so I have tons of different passwords. Had to write them down even for myself.

Yes. Spouse has all. I've also given out social media passwords to a good friend so they could play games for me while I was on vacation. Yep, totally serious. Of course I'm talking about people I've known over half my life.

No. Never again. There are certain accounts that have a family password such as Netflix or my cable live stream. But no. I have not yet to take the steps to establish an incase I'm incapacitated or deceased detail.
