I’m thinking of getting a Costco membership. I currently have a Sams Club one. I save a ton of money with Sams club but it’s pretty far from my house. The Costco is behind my work. I’ve just been used to Sams Club my whole life since there was one by my house when I was kid but that closed that time a bunch of them were closing. Also one time work brought in Costco pizza and I swear it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.

I looked online and a regular membership is only $15 more then Sams Club. Are the prices of the products the same? Is the quantity the same? I know being closer would be one of the big deal break breakers.

I’m going to check it out on Monday.

I always liked the Costco when I lived in Calif when it was close to where we lived. Living alone for me buying bulk isn't practical but a friend who has a farm a few miles down the road goes there often. When we had our women's horse group gatheting at her home she bought an amazing chocolate cake at costco. So good I HAD to take a 2nd piece home for my midnight snack. Yes, they have good & UNIQUE foods there. Too far away for me now. I have a hard time making it into my town 10 minutes away from my farm

I used to work with someone that swore by them. BJs is much closer for me than Costco. With a family of four, especially adolescent sons, it's been a game changer for my household finances. I go there at least once if not twice a month. I still utilize the other grocery chains depending on my needs.
Certainly, test the waters to see if Costco has what you will use and save money on.
Thanks for this!
