do you prefer smoked or unsmoked bacon.
personally I prefer it smoked. I find it has more of a flavour but I'll eatit both ways |

Unsmoked. I won't turn my nose up at smoked, though. I really like maple flavored, as well.

In my home area is a lovely butcher's that specialises in dry cure bacon, and the hogs run free so my bacon is always beautifully flavoured, and for breakfast is usually served on a l e n g t h w a y s cut brown loaf for extra breakfast piggishness! Not forgetting the tomato ketchup!

Smoked. There's nothing wrong with unsmoked, but it tastes a bit bland compared to smoked.

I’ll eat it either way. I’m not a big fan of bacon though. All the sodium in it makes me thirsty and kind of nauseated. I don’t get what the big deal is about it. The Today Show news anchors lose their **** over bacon all the time.

Smoked! My father made his own homemade sausages last week and he's going to smoke the bacon this weekend. It's already salted. No preservatives, no artificial flavours, just good honest meat and salt!
