As some of you may know, I've been searching for someone to rent a bedroom in my apartment, and it's been a brutal process.
But yesterday, one of the women who came to see my apartment really liked it and the building. We talked for more than an hour, and I felt very comfortable with her. So I offered her the room, and she accepted on the spot. This is such a relief. She's 55, working 3/4 time and partly on disability, doesn't smoke, and has no pets. I'm just so relieved. splitimage

It's definitely a relief. We still haven't finalized her move in date. I'm hoping for Dec. 15.

Congratulations! That must be such a relief to have found someone, and how great that you guys hit it off and were able to comfortably sit and chat for a bit. I'm happy for you!

Congratulations!
I hope this is the beginning of a happy, healthy relationship! I've had some great housemates in the past and lots of pleasant, even joyful, memories! I wish you the same! WC
