Stephen King's new movie 'The Mist' was.....really really creepy. BF and I saw it on opening day. Well its really rainy and we have a winter storm warning here - yes in AZ - and its creeping me out because I can't even see the mountains! Wow....that Stephen King knows how to get in your head!!!

nooooo thank you. The Mist - Anyone seen? Won't don't "do" Stephen King!

However, the bus driver played a DVD on the ride through the mountains in NM to CO and it was about the mist that came off the ocean into a port/fishing town... it was all I could do to keep my mind on other things! (PS it was at night too..the bus ride.)

The movie I tried not to see was "The Fog." by John Carpenter, 1980 I think. The fog came in from the sea and killed the people of the fishing village...but only every so often, some anniversary or something.

This is very strange. The Mist - Anyone seen? The Mist - Anyone seen? I cannot tolerate scary movies, but I
love to read them. What's up with that ? I do love Stephen
King, I think he is one of the best authors of scary movies.

I've had the movie "It" since it was put on VHS (90 or 91). It is always excellent. Kinda cool watching John Ritter in action before his sad demise.....

I know when I read the Stand (the unabridged version all 1400 pages) I started to catch a cold. If you have not read the book it is about a superflu created by the goverment that gets unleashed on the world's population. Freaked me out. I just got done watching Kingdom Hospital...also a great movie actually 15 hour mini-series.
