Yes, I lived in Coronado (San Diego's more pleasant "island" peninsula with only 1 stoplight (we're talking 1963) that isn't that pleasant anymore) and remember Christmas and Santa Ana's, wait a minute, that was 113 degrees and we couldn't get out of school because people's parents wouldn't be home, etc. and there was no air conditioning because normally it's 60's-70's. Small glitch.
