Kind of a weird question, but how do you wear tank tops with bras? I really want to wear them during the summer but I can never find ones that don’t show my bra. Women’s or men’s. My only option really are boys cut off shirts. I know back in 2010 I could wear tanks tops with bigger straps and my bra wouldnt show and also I was 45 pounds heavier. So I don’t know if they just don’t make those types anymore. Or if I’m not looking in the right places. I’m not sure how spaghetti strap tank tops will look on me. I’m only 148 pounds and my stomach is very flat and small but I am a DD. I’m just really not sure on anything.

If anyone knows where to find these tank tops that would be great.

I wears a sports bra with tank tops because it gives a more flattering look to me, and anyway, I tend to dress modestly. And I love guy's shirts especially the colourful ones. They go well with my leggings, and jeans, too.

I wear a sports bra with a strap over each shoulder (not sure what they are called).
Thanks for this!

I’m not sure about this year but Eddie Bauer usually has sleeveless Ts that have basically bigger straps that have no issue covering straps.

Yeah I want tank tops to wear with my jeans. I also bought a baseball hat the other day.

Depends on the style of the tank top. Some are designed where sports bras work, others can be pulled off with a strapless bra or spaghetti strap bra. Some tank tops are designed with material where braless is an option. Can also toss a short sleeve button down shirt, unbuttoned or a kimino type of shirt over one when in doubt.

I think it depends on breast size too. I have itty-bitty B's and if I had to I could go braless. I imagine that would be painful with DD's. What is wrong with a little strap showing? Or do you mean your actual bra shows?

For many years I've had a lovely fedora specially made by Lock the Hatters in London. Periodically it's returned to be serviced. A hat makes us feel like a million dollars. I've also a waxed Barbour jacket which has kept me warm and dry and a pair of trusty Hunter wellies for our rainy weather. But a tank top always feels comfy under a woollen jumper, and no uncomfortable straps digging in! Comfy clothes contribute a lot to the comfort of our everyday lives. Get the clothing right and we're halfway there.

Isn't it actually in style to show bra straps beneath a tank top? In fact, there are bras specifically designed to do just that. I have some, including razor backs. Also pretty much everywhere you can find tank tops with built in bras and support. Problem solved.

Yes, one can have strapless if that is suitable. I prefer sports bras for their sheer comfort, no more.

I tried on a couple tank tops at Walmart today. They did not work out at all. They were size L and were still super small. My stomach was sticking out. Also my bra was pouring out from everywhere. They didn’t have anything bigger. I was going to go to Kohl’s tomorrow to check out the tank tops they have and also maybe some sports or strapless bras.

I found 4 at Kohl’s today. Including 2 spaghetti strap tank tops. I solved the bra issue too. I found a couple strapless wire bras.

Kohl's does have some good finds, indeed. Glad you found something that works for you!

@Mountaindewed choose a tank that feels really comfortable. Spending a little bit more will make a big difference. I find underwear that costs a bit more, more than makes up for comfort especially when one is working a long shift, or playing hard at some game, or just wanting to chill out. Sometimes where I work, I have to do a 12 hour shift. Therefore being comfy under my clothes makes all the difference.

I wore a tank top last summer and got arrested for indecent exposure.
