LOUSY! As I mentioned in my post yesterday, Bipolar is the absolute WORST, because your mood can turn on a dime: one day you're flying high, and the next you feel like dirt.

Like this week: I felt great on Sunday after completing a race. However, yesterday I was completely exhausted and in physical agony.

I couldn't sleep last night till 1:30, got up this morning at 5:30, and tried to work out.

Right now I'm sitting in front of my computer, trying to focus on work. My kids are home this week for spring break. Because of my irritability and inability to focus / tune out distractions, I'm feeling very frustrated and overwhelmed.

Yeah yeah, I know: count my blessings. I have 3 great (if often annoying) kids, a healthy marriage, ability to exercise, etc.

However, this roller coaster of emotions is really wearing me out.

I can relate: I recently got off a sleep aid (Benadryl) because although it helped me sleep, it left me exhausted in the morning. Also, it's been associated with dementia later in life.

The adjustment has been difficult, especially last night: I couldn't get to sleep till 1:30am, and then had to get up at 5am today to go work out.

Hang in there

Been diagnosed with borderline type 2 diabetes. Mother suffered it. Not feeling great right now. Been given insulin. Peggy is now officially my carer, dear little love that she is.

Hopeless and depressed. I just can't seem to figure out how to fix anything in my life, everything seems overwhelming and impossible. I feel so depressed lately, so much more than before... I don't know if it's the neurofeedback not working, the therapist quitting, my job sucking, or issues with my family. Or everything. It's probably everything.

I am sorry to hear that you have diabetes Velvet Lounger,it is a shock when you first find out.

Right now I am a bit low giving that I might have cancer again,I am trying to be positive rather than give up,I am getting straight in onto an anti cancer diet tomorrow. So at least I'll be able to say I am doing all the right things.
