Hi, Everybody!!

This thread is to share what our bodies do that are funny,
astonishing or anything in between. We are astonishing marvels of biochemistry that can stop us in our tracks or double over and cry with laughter.

I'll start!

I was at a party and someone complimented a young lady on her vest. It was the fashion and was faux fur. She responded it feels like dog fur. I heard it smells like dog fur. Naturally, I asked did you say..... We had a good laugh over it.

I'm seeing someone and we were sitting on the couch together and listening to some music he wanted to show me. It was a slow, sentimental seeming song, he was really enjoying it, just sitting there listening with his eyes closed. I got this image in my mind though, of someone sitting there with us (Or maybe me, haha) farting loudly in the middle of the song. I immediately cracked up and did tell him. He laughed, but I think I thought it was more funny than he did. I had a hard time stopping laughing.

me: actually, in my case, they are just used for decoration. not only can my body do amazing things, it self decorates. lol

when I was a kid learning about my body parts:

mom used to sing me a song that went something like,

if you're a girl you're born with a daisy,, if you're a guy you're born with a snake

....

Speaking of Insufficient Data, one time we were working a LOT of overtime, so i was sooo exhausted, i was finally home sleeping.

The phone rang, i mumbled something, finally the guy yelled WHAT?! and woke me up - he said, do you know what you were saying?? "INSUFFICIENT DATA TO PROCESS THIS REQUEST."

Of course, i only have his word for it that i repeated this 3 times, but im still pretty proud of my brain! I think?!

I can make a pretty good horse sound if I move my teeth in a certain way

I snort when I laugh lol

Also my nose is often whistles, I have a large hole inside my nose (was born this way) which pretty much makes my septum non existent, so when air goes through it sounds like low key whistle.

Overall I am a small woman but my body makes a lot of loud noises. I snore loud. Have loud voice and loud laugh among other things haha

Typically people can fold their tongue or not...I think it's partly genetic. Well, I can make a shamrock shape out of mine....like a double fold. I've never met anyone else who can do it but I bet they are out there somewhere in the cosmos

This is one of the funniest things I've ever heard. I read it and told my friend and laughed until tears ran down my face. That poor girl! I would have died with mortification! Truth is stranger than fiction!!! And really funny if you're not the one it happened to!

I think my body is amazing but alas I’m getting cataracts at the young age of 51. Recently, I turned down a road in the dark and rain in the morning and it was actually a ditch and I was blocking a heavily traveled road. Oh, the looks and honks I got. Fortunately someone pulled me out. Ms. Magoo at your service. No more driving in the dark.
