I’ve been on seasonanle birth control for over 9 years. I’m supposed to be getting my period 4 times a year with the pills. I keep missing periods though. I’m not pregnant. I still get horrific PMDD But my period never actually comes. I’ve missed 2 out of 3 periods since September. I’m supposed to get a period next week. I’m really worried I won’t get one.

I’m scared to talk to my doctor because I don’t want her to take me off the birth control because I don’t want to deal with my PMDD every month. And I don’t want to switch to a different BC because I’ve heard of women switching BC and gaining a lot of weight. So is it bad to stop getting your period on birth control?
