Okay, I need to check in on some positivity!

Today, positive things were: I managed to do a 4 mile walk this morning with the dogs. I got lots of work done and enjoyed it. I had a 90 minute practice session in the sound studio and made some improvements on my violin. And I cooked an awesome, tasty dinner! I am actually exhausted from all the activity today so hitting the hay early!

Here's to more positivity tomorrow!

They made me smile and chuckle too.

Well, I jogged 2 miles with the dogs this morning and already completed two work tasks in prep for tomorrow. Yay!

@golden_eve When are you going to return to us and spread some sunshine and positivity?

This is a positive for me since I really want to heal my oldest wounds, I want to grow and change for the better. I don't think she's truly helping me with that cause. And I finally am seeing this after all this time.

Now may be the time to find a better fit. Leaving a bad therapist and finding a better one will help me tremendously on my journey of recovery. What I want and need. A positive!!!
Good post :

You’re being proactive leaving a therapist who made a shaming comment. It’s not ok imo for therapists to do this. I also would like to find a therapist who doesn’t make shaming comments

I learnt something new today

I received such a sweet email and Facebook message from my old high school bud Joe. Apparently, today is the 30th anniversary day of my high school graduation back in 1989. He found and sent me a photo of me receiving my diploma, and even better, he found a lovely photo of the two of us with our arms wrapped around each other after the ceremony. He's always been the sweetest person I ever knew from my school days.I have luckily kept in touch with him off and on throughout the years that have passed. I saw him at the reunion last month.

Thank you, Fuzzy!

Although what I did instead was talk with her and tell her how I felt about her shaming comment. I wasn't confrontational or angry, I simply told her that it hurt me and offended me. She apologized, saying she realized she had said the wrong thing just as I was leaving the session. So I won't give up on her now, but at some point I will probably make the switch.

I wish you all the best in finding a good therapist for yourself!

I slept 6.5 hours last night. That's a vast improvement over months of about around 4 hours...

Well, I switched on the computer this morning and found an e-mail from my brother in the UK. He plans to visit next week for a few days I do not hear from him much, he tends to be one of those 'once in a blue moon' visitors
