I recently discovered that there are more emoticons on the list. I often saw many replies with all these cool emoticons and wondered where y'all got them from. After familiarizing myself with this forum, I finally found it. Now that I found it, I'm going to practice with the emoticons - my favorite ones, that is. So, here goes...

I need this in the morning (or whatever time I wake up), and then another pick-me-up in the afternoon.

I can drink soda warm, cold, in the morning, or late at night. I'm going to miss soda when I approach my 50s, since one of the VA staff said that too much soda consumption can put me at risk for osteoporosis. So, I'll enjoy it while I can. Sigh. Aging.

Someone had this emoticon in their signature, which really made me smile. It feels like a really welcoming emoticon, and a lot of praise.

I'm guilty of going off on tangents sometimes. Sorry. Oops!

Are these commercials even around anymore? It's been a long while since I've watched television. Remember the milk lines on the top of the lip? I'm not sure if that ever happened to me in real life. I'm now lactose intolerant.

I could probably use these emoticons in response to some of the posts, too. I'm really digging these emoticons. I'm like a kid in a car who likes to play with all the buttons. Emoticons are my new toy. LOL.

I'm not good at being on the welcoming committee, nor am I good at introductions. Something strange has happened to my speech lately; I either become tongue-twisted or I find myself pausing in the middle of a sentence. I also forget names of people I may know really well during introductions. I'm not sure what that is, but it happened around the time I turned 40. I'm 45 now, and this speech thing has worsened slightly over time.

More of my emoticon playing (since we're only allowed 12 or so emoticons per post)...

When I play the games in the Games forum, I often think of this emoticon to represent my mood, though my moods like these are almost never expressed IRL or outwardly, not even privately. It's like my moods are just under the surface. Emoticons help.

I feel loony most days. I like being loony sometimes though. :P

I need to feel secure and safe for me to function.

I say sorry a lot!

When I'm in shock or feel panicked, I need help.

What my alternate personalities look like sometimes - from the inside ... during therapy.

What I hope to be doing one day.

More often than not, I really don't know the answer.

The emotion I wish to express in therapy when I want to release pain from past traumas.

The final list of favorite emoticons I found here (since we're only allowed 12 or so emoticons per post)...

For some reason, this makes me laugh.

How I feel when I'm overwhelmed.

What I need to learn to say more of.

What I often say a lot, in addition to sorry.

I'm verbose, I ain't gonna lie.

What chronic fatigue syndrome feels like every other day, for me.

What I felt like earlier tonight.

I don't like rain, unless I'm indoors and sipping on hot cocoa while curling up to a good movie or book.

What I need now more than ever!

What switching sometimes looks like in my mind (DID: when alternate personalities want to come out)

I miss high school, the culture. If I can go back in time, I would.

What I feel like having multiple personalities (DID).
