if you're tired of hearing about the coronavirus, this thread is for you.

I want to make this a place where we talk about everything but the illness

I saw a show recently where they used an old butter churn to make butter...and wow!, did it ever look creamy and delicious. (*Starts pulling bread cookbooks out and bookmarking recipes*)

Getting work done around my farm. Would get more done if it ever quits raining. Nice to have uninterrupted time.

I thoroughly enjoyed Bohemian Rhapsody, but I absolutely adore Rocketman! It's delightful.

Wait ,I was in Corona Park ,drinking a Corona beer and I caught something that wasn't a virus ,can I get my admission ticket refunded ?

If you think being disabled has no upside ,your mistaken ,my girlfriend an I can never fall and break a hip ,and we can get on and off paratransit or mass transit without touching anything ! There's two upsides right there .

Now since this is an other topic thread ,I will rant a little about my week . My care aide was replaced Thursday of last week ,the new aide was a clean freak she cleaned me out, literaly , well cleaning she was cassing my house , she stole my credit cards and debit cards and started stealing on Friday, without me knowing it on Saturday she ordered a pizza and I thought it was nice of her to offer me a slice I didn't know she bought it and paid for it with my money ,I found out Monday evening when the fraud division of my bank called me to ask if 9 different $100 cash advances and food orders all over town had even boon authorized on some app, that woke me up and I found she stole not just my bank aaxxounts but my house keys, all my cash and about 3000 dollars of radio and computer equipment ,thank God for banks ,i have used that bank for a decade so they immediately smelled something afoot because I don't go out much or ever eaten at the restaurants she was ordering otherwise she would have been to work on Tuesday, the part that gets me is the stupid criminal aspect , the bank new exactly where the money was coming from my account ,and going to her account apparently everytime she did a cash advance this app reported the name and account number Social security number of the recipient ,when they asked if I knew the person ,I said NO , when I hang up with them ,i called the agency she worked for and asked if they worked there , they said she is your aide .Her legal name was what the bank gave me ,the agency introduced her by a shortened Americanized inversion of her African American name , needless to say the police were not impressed and she's been charged with 11 different felonies ,
I told my girlfriend I sorta feel guilty reporting her ,she obviously will be out of a job and will never pass a background check for any job in the future when she gets out of prison ,and then I realized I am not creating her problem ,she did the crimes and will have to pay for them ,by reporting it I saved someone else from being victimized ,if this is what she did in the first 3 days ,I can't imagine what she would do when she got comfortable in her position .
Thanks for listening ...

Watching funny videos on YouTube, eating dark chocolate while watching a movie, hanging out with my dog, all fun distractions. Need to make popcorn sometime and have a bowl that you can put in the microwave and add a certain amount of popcorn kernels and voila fresh popcorn and have butter I can melt to add to it and even popcorn seasoning salt. Now to pick a good dvd or movie on Amazon.
