For those of you still employed and deal with customers all day, do you feel safe? I'm especially addressing those working in grocery stores and fast food.

Hi ruby2011. I don't work in public, but I have also been thinking of those who do. I have a friend that works as a cashier at my local large grocery store. When I saw him a few days ago, I thanked him for being there, told him to stay safe, and that we need him. He seemed to appreciate that.

I think that if the virus becomes more rampant in my area (it's already here), alternative ways of distributing groceries should be considered.

I took a leave from work and told them I’ll be back when it all blows over. They were like ok. I work at McDonald’s and it’s considered essential business, unfortunately.
