I have been trimming the hair that falls into my eyes and that is about it....

My husband hair is nearly as long as mine. He is going for the brown with grey highlights Fabio look.

I am the same with my hairdresser. I followed her around the town when she changed salons few times, she is the best I ever had.

Luckily, I got my hair cut, conditioned, and colored right before the hair salon closed for covid 19. I also had my eyebrows done. My husband, on the other hand, had been overdue for a haircut. He's been complaining about his hair. Coincidentally, his barber lives within walking-distance of us, but I'm sure he wouldn't cut hubby's hair outside of the shop.

I had this dream last night where I was at Lush cosmetics and I was trying to get my hair cut. Why at Lush I don’t know why. Then Lush turned into an Old Country Buffet and my ex coworker was cutting my hair and she was doing a **** job cutting it.

I guess I’m a bit preoccupied with my hair.

I have the weirdest dreams lately.

I don’t really believe in meanings of dreams but dreams of hair supposed to mean growth and finding your true identity

Heh, glad I'm not the only one feeling a bit stressed over my hair!

Like BirdDancer, I was lucky to have been in just before all this went down. But. My hair grows really fast. I used to dye my own hair and I really hated doing it, which is one reason I started letting someone else do it. I may have to do it myself again. Ugh. My haircut I'm not as concerned. It's a complicated cut, so no way I could manage it myself, but I'm cool with it growing some. It's a random enough look that such things are not particularly noticeable. Not that I want it to go *too* long without a cut, lol.

I gave *some* thought to using this opportunity to go with the grey. But it's not the kind of grey I could deal with. I'm just not ready to go there yet.

If anyone is rolling their eyes at this.... yeah, I realize this is among the least of issues going on right now. Doesn't mean I can't wish for a wishy-world where someone could do my hair.

There will be inches of gray roots for hairstylists to cover once Covid is over!

Maybe I can start getting into hats more, or if everyone is social distancing, from 6 feet away roots are much less noticeable.

Haha I am so glad I have no grey hair at all. It’s a mystery of genetics, my brother is all salt and pepper and he is a year younger than me. My mom had to dye her hair starting 40s, my dad was getting by his 50s and I still don’t have a single grey hair at 54. I am thanking stars lol My hair dresser says in her experience it’s very uncommon. But it sure saves me ton of money just having to cut and not dye

I'm doing okay. My hair is white and I put a platinum toner over it (I order the toner on Amazon). Frankly, the color is nicer than color I've paid $200 for.

As for the cut...I'd had mine cut really short just before the shite hit the fan. I'm just letting it grow.

I didn't know there was any state that had open salons. Shame on them! Everyone should be sheltering in place.

I was lucky that I had my hair cut and colored literally two days before my salon closed because of the pandemic. I also got my eyebrows done. I'll admit that I have been a little lax about self-care since then, but when I do take care of it, it still looks good. My bangs are getting a little long, but my roots do not yet show gray hairs.

I was gonna buy some hair color this morning and I forgot, I went straight to the books. Brought a bunch of books. Really missing the library a lot more than the beauty shop.

Me, too! I live a block from a beautiful library and I need books desperately right now. Last I heard the library will remain closed until May 1st, which I know is not true. They stay closed until at least late May.

Yeah me too - the day before the library shut I got notification my request had come in - I was so excited to read it but there it is on the other side of those locked doors.

I am very lucky my library service uses an app so we can download ebooks. It's limited but a wonderful resource in these strange uncertain times.

My hair is going to be like cousin It, but on the upside not really going anywhere/seeing anyone.

Can you borrow books online from your library?

My eyebrows are almost completely grown in. I only ever tweezed them myself. I just havent bothered recently. Altho the last time i even clipped them short. Maybe i can continue ignoring them and then make an appointment with an eyebrow guru when this is over. They want you to have fully grown in brows. Another couple of months should do it!
Thanks for this!

I made the mistake of letting my husband "trim" my hair. I had to wear a hat for a few days.

Yes, but I don't like to read them online I want a real, paper book...that has the scent of a book. They say they're opening on May 1st, but I'll be quite surprised if they do.

There is, however, a sprawling, gorgeous rose garden around the library. The roses are starting to be in full bloom now. What a perfect time to enjoy them!

I have several online meetings this week, zoom or what not. Guess I’ll have to at least attempt to fix my hair. It’s getting to the point of unkempt look. My coworkers joke that they’ll have to wear decent tops but can keep pajama pants on. Won’t show on a screen lol

I really want to shave my head. But then I think the lockdown might be lifted soon so I put it off. Then things get bad again so I think of shaving it again, and vice versa. I have a hat though to wear for therapy sessions if I really do shave it.

It's been raining here a lot lately. Moving my horse in & out of the barn I am out in the rain a lot. That wouldn't be bad except I have naturally curly (frizzy) hair. What a sight... but as long as my horse, dogs & cats don't care, the few people I see can deal with it too. Only have 2 mirrors in my house & if I don't look at them what I don't see doesn't bother me

Tell me about it. I
Got repurplized before the first set of guidelines in fact before the total shelter in place but two days before they shut the salons. I have dirty blonde hair but my purple isn’t taking as well this time around. I’ve been trying to sit in the sun because it brings out my highlights and I’m hoping to look like I’m rocking an ombré.
