Which hair color do you like more?

My hair is naturally brunette right now...been growing it out for a while...I want to get it at least shoulder length then I'd like to perm it and dye it a natural ginger/auburn.

I think brown is a boring hair color, but my parents/grandparents want me to keep it the same because they think it's beautiful. I'm sick of it. These past few months is the longest I've done absolutely nothing to it. I don't know what to do.

I never dyed my hair. I am natural darker blonde, dishwater blonde. I do highlights sometimes to make it more interesting but I am not adventurous to actually dye it different color. I’d look ok with dark hair because I come from a family of dark haired people (I am the only one with lighter hair), I have darker skin (olive?) and black eye brows so dark hair would look ok but it wouldn’t be me! So I’ll keep it like this I guess

Blondes, Brunettes, Redheads...
This is what I'd like done. I have a little while before it's all shoulder length, but I really don't like my natural hair.

It’s gorgeous color! I’d not look good with this color. See her eyebrows? They match her hair. it’s really pretty!

I've dyed my hair different shades of auburn/ginger for many years. All my friends and strangers would always comment on how beautiful my red hair was. But my mom and grandparents say they like my hair natural the best.

I know I'm the one who has to wear my cut/color/style hair, and I know I could pull off everything in that photo, but there's a part of me who wants to treasure having natural colored hair. Even though the color is not my favorite, my natural hair is still natural and I haven't seen it natural in 13 years. It's a rarity for women to have all natural hair these days.

I've always coloured mine a light blonde and recently I went with this colour. I'm trying to grow it out, as well.

My hair is darkish brown. Hair color is not a big deal to me.

My hair itself is a big deal to me though.

My hair is a brown with a light shade of copper to it. But now I'm mostly grey and I'm not colouring it. I actually kind of like how the grey looks.

I love your (old) pictures of you as a redhead! It really goes well with your coloring - your peaches and cream skin And you have the good hair to stand up to the processing.

I know it’s a rarity. People find it funny that I never dyed my hair and I am 54, even occasional highlights is something I started later in life. I had a hairdresser once who said I am so lucky to have nice hair color and I should just live with it hmm I think it’s a boring color but ok.... also I have no grey hair at all none zero and I have irrational fear that if I’ll start dying my hair I’ll go grey. Stupid I know. It doesn’t work this way

All colors. I don't even mind if a person is bald, especially men or people like Annie Lenox or Sinead O'Connor (though maybe not me). As for me, I have been a brunette for most of my life. As a child, my hair went from blond to dirty blond to golden brown, though I have had some red hints, too. At 20 years old, I dyed my hair light auburn. People thought it was my natural color because it went well with my skin. Both of my grandmothers had light auburn hair, naturally. Later down the line when my hair went brunette, I got light highlights, so it looked light golden brown again. If I'm out in the sun a lot, it gets close to that color on its own. I've liked it all, but maybe the darker brunette least on me. Unlike my mother, who looked wonderful with fair skin and dark brown hair, darker brown looks a bit harsh on me, sometimes.

I think purple is the best hair color.

I agree, it’s cool. It looks nice on you. I just don’t see myself with purple hair. And the whole beauty of it is uniqueness. Can you imagine if we all had purple hair? I bet you’d go green then! Or blue!
