I've been playing FFXIV every day. I created a couple of new classes. The reaper and the sage. I passed the first test for the reaper but I am having trouble with the sage. I have to heal and do damage. It's hard.

Stranded Sails has been ok if a bit easy and linear, they could have made it better by allowing you to roam off a limited path more and you keep having to harvest food and cook for energy while all the other crewmembers are just stood out side their huts! ..they could at least have them watering the crops for you while you have to go off to other islands looking for stuff on the missions!
It's probably a game I'll only play through once if I do finish it, it will get traded in along with a few others when BOTW2 comes out so I can buy that! ..which will no doubt be expensive! ..this is why I prefer a physical cartridge especially if get it cheap pre-owned then re-sell it for same price on ebay or something...haven't really lost anything then if it was one I didn't like much or would only play through once. Zelda games are the only one's where I will fork out for special editions cos I know I'll keep them..maybe one day a complete collection will be worth a lot of money and make me a millionaire..lol!..you never know!!! |

is it good? Haven't downloaded the DLC I don't like the idea of giving them my credit card details! I've got a set of amibo coins (off ebay) so I can get stuff like wolf link and the original Epona and some other goodies but still have never downloaded anything from the Switch E-shop! I was debating paying for the 1 year membership thing (off Amazon) they just send you a code via email. I may as well wait until I've actually got the Switch OLED then I get a full year from Jan 2022 if I want to do that. (cos if family get covid symptoms now before xmas day it will get cancelled for us..so I won't get it xmas day ) I'm just thinking it will end up a waste of money though cos once BOTW2 comes out I won't be playing on anything else! ..and I'll be buying that as a Limited Edition hard copy. |

I have a loooong way to go to completing the game but I’m looking forward to really getting into the main game. I know I’m way behind but I didn’t buy BOTW until just recently. __________________ R.I.P mom 8/6/55-1/15/16 “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

Enjoy!... I didn't follow the main quests for ages when I got it I was just captivated by the scenery and spent hours just riding round on the back of a horse bareback with Link just in his blue shorts..lol!! (though not in the snowy parts..I put clothes on going up to Hebra..lol!!) oh and if you try that (link in just shorts) stop at one of the stables and talk to the guy behind the counter..he's so funny..acts as if Link has no clothes on at all!! |

It's easier to tackle the monster camps by stealth at night at about 10pm (in gametime) they usually go to sleep then you can creep up on them and do the sneak strike then nick any meat they have cooking! If there's anylookouts take them out first...if its raining heavy (in game) they have less chance of hearing you sneak up on them too! The monsters around the bottom of plateau going towards the split peak to Kakariko village are easier. ...but as you level up in the game in fighting ability, so do the enemies! You can avoid most of them and do the main quest first. I think the Lynels and the Guardians (you need a guardian shield to get any chance of getting passed them or defeating them) are the hardest and the hardest boss is the desert one cos he moves so damn fast! ..he's really hard to lock target on him. This page tells you all about the hardest enemies Breath Of The Wild: The 15 Most Powerful Enemies, Ranked |

I played New World this morning. They're in the process of merging servers. In the beginning, you couldn't log in. Now there's hardly anyone around. The economy and game leveling fail without people.

I was going to get FF7 for the switch but then I heard it wasn't the full game. I still have the original somewhere it was 3 disc's long! The switch version is doing 7 & 8 on one cartridge so I bet FF8 isn't the full version either. I bought the Final Fantasy Maxima version instead and although it's cute with the mini cartoony versions of Cloud, Tifa etc that you can summon in battle I didn't get into it as much as I thought I would!
I think my favourites of the series are FF7 (for the story, video cut scene's, Chocobo Racing and Knights of the Round materia!) and FF10 cos I liked the story and the characters. I remember having one on the Gamecube years ago that was FF but not numbered just a subtitle but I can't remember what it was called now |

Did anyone get a new game for xmas?
I got one with my switch which is similar to wii sports resort lots of different sports..this has got more on and more unusual fun things like dog sledding, off road Quad biking, rollar blading and skateboarding as well as the more typical sports. Taken me 2 days to 'unlock' dog sledding as had to win 8 events on starter island...now trying to unlock more dogs to find some that look like mine!!! (RL dog) There's 4 different landscapes (islands) too for city, beach, mountains and snow resort, should keep me busy a while! |

So I just bought a digital copy of Pokémon Shining Pearl for my Nintendo Switch. I kind of wanted the physical edition,I almost always go with those but I was really feeling impatient and wanted to play as soon as possible instead of waiting for it to ship to me. I can’t take all these physical games I have with me some day in the hopefully far future when I die anyway so it’s nothing to worry about. I’m trying to be a tad less materialistic

lol! no but you can trade them in to get money towards other games while you're still here! The first copy of Zelda for NES went for $870,000 I believe!...so if my zelda collection is worth anything by the time I pass, I'll leave instructions to auction them off and give the money to charity. A full collection of Pokemon maybe worth a lot one day you never know!! |
