How is everyone managing self care in quarantine?

I've been trying my best to bathe frequently, but I miss some days. I wore press on nails for a few days, but I didn't love them so I removed them. I'm waiting for nail growth to start painting my nails again. I've been doing my skincare routine, so my skin looks pretty good.

I have been eating fruit and drinking water, which is great. I should exercise more. I'm going to try to do some arm exercise with my 5 lb dumbbells.

Thanks for this!

I've been taking walks and doing stretches everyday. I take showers most days. Bought some nice lotion to use and nail clippers because my nails were growing out and I play ukulele so I needed to clip them. I meditate almost daily and use mindfulness often. Also journal a lot. I need to start eating a little healthier though.

Bodyweight workouts, 2 mile runs, and long walks. I have to get outside every now and then or it starts getting to me. Especially voices, they'll close in if I just sit inside all day. When outside my brain can be distracted a lot more and I don't notice them nearly as much.

Hi KD -My nails were painted with gel when we went into lockdown. I removed it with acetone (which is the only substance that removes gel). They were left very damaged, painfully so. I bought a bottle of biotin off Amazon - the biotin is helping my nails repair. Not dramatically, but definitely better and more quickly.

I have been bad about eating too much and not exercising, but the parks opened up in Texas recently, so now I can go for walks.

Been working out daily with 20lb dumbbells and bodyweight. Walking daily at least 3 miles
Bathing daily once, sometimes twice cause I'd stink like hell otherwise.
Been focusing meals around protein and taking protein supplements. Not too focused on counting calories.
Oversleeping cause a side effect of my meds is sedation and sometimes I'm *this* close to passing out on my walks

Walking almost daily and need to do small hand weights more often since was doing this fairly often before the lock down. Need to get a better sleep routine as sometimes go to bed too late or fall asleep on the couch. Eating fairly healthy, but could include fruit more often.

I have a difficult time bathing and it's hard to stick to routine self-care. I do take my meds every day. I'm pretty good about my insulin. I have exercises for physical therapy. I struggle with those.

I'm pretty much approaching it on a day-by-day basis. Whatever I need that given day, I try to do my best to do that thing. Just focus on one thing even. Today it was going to class. I did that. I think it's wise for me to just do one thing that I can do on any given day. I sometimes obsess about what that one thing should be, but whatever...
