For some reason I didn’t receive my SNAP (food stamps) benefit today like I’m supposed to. Does anyone know if it’s delayed or what ?

There shouldn't be any delay in benefits, overall. I'm guessing that you were supposed to turn in some paperwork or information to continue your case? It's really stressful when these things happen during a week-end. My suggestion is that you call your local HSSA first thing Monday. Good luck!

Was this tied to the covid $600 unemployment benefit? I tried googling, and its unclear to me if your snap was part of the law that expired yesterday.

I’ve been getting SNAP for 8 years, long before COVID so I don’t think so.
Thanks for this!

I did have an interview to reinstate it last month but I thought I turned in all the required documents.
Thanks for this!

Ugggghhh....there's most likely some little box you didn't check or some piece of paper you didn't submit. Or they misplaced something. I had my reinstatement in June and I knew I had submitted everything correctly. I called when my SNAP was delayed and it turned out that there was a page I'd sent in that had been overlooked. So they restarted my benefits that day.

Definitely call tomorrow and good luck!

Sounds like you need to give SNAP a call.
