I only celebrate that it is the end of tourist season and the start of the timer for all my snowbird neighbours to head south for the winter. Where I live we call the tourists, fudgies, because a lot of them come up just for fudge. I use to do the Mack Bridge walk as a kid, that was always fun.

I would usually be on my Labor Day lake trip but I didn’t go this year. But there was a It’s A Living marathon on TV that was pretty good. What happens happens I suppose.

Terrible Labor Day for me. The woman who lives upstairs did not go into work and spent her day harassing me. I’d had enough of her threats and told everyone I know how rude I think she is. First step to protecting yourself against threats is telling someone. I made the mistake of confiding in my family and a friend. I should have went directly to the police - telling the woman directly only intimidated her and made her actions more horrid. Police requested I come into the station - they don’t want to deal with her either. Anyway, I will not put up with her demands anymore - Loud music when she comes home from work and every time she stomps above my bedroom before I am awake - I’m banging right back at her. It is not my responsibility to heat her apartment - I like my apartment cold and airy -without windows open 24/7! I wish she would leave me be.
