Hi (((((Rhap))))) as another DIDer, some of the news footage we saw of Britney yesterday made us wonder the same thing.

Kaika, the realization that you are DID can hit like a bolt of lightening, sudden & very uncomfortable. We know that isn't the way it happens for everyone, but it was like that for us.

My sociology class just had a whole discussion about Brittney Spears and my teacher asked us to say the first word that came to mind when you hear her name and everyone was saying slut, hoe, easy.. and i was like is that really fair? I kind of think of it like how when my mom found out i cut and then called me an embaressment, stupid, crazy... i mean though i sometimes believe its all true i also sometiems know its not its just my moms opinion.. so i think that brittney is just suffering like the rest of us here and it is sad that she cant have more people around her that support her and help her through it. I am not saing that britt doesnt make some bad choices because i totally dont agree with a lot of what she has done but i mean come on she is human and i cant count on one hand all the mistakes i made and i think very few people can idk.

Also lol i just read that britts mom is writting a book on parenting. thats sort of crazy if you ask me i mean come on look where jamie lynn is.. pregnant at sixteen. Just thought i would share that with you because i feel that a lot of what is worn g with these girls the mom has a lot of fault in. oh well what can we do..

On tv a moment ago it said she signed out of the hospital against her doctors orders, and that her parents are very afraid for her life.

I hope to god she remains ok, and am saying a prayer for her. Poor girl.

That was yesterday she was signed out. Now the parents are trying to get control of her/estate. Where were they when she was under their care?

I thought her dad got control when she was in the hospital?

I fear for her. Celebrity stuff aside, she's a human and I sure hope she's gonna be ok.

Just watched the morning news and the final Dx for Brittney is Bi-Polar (and) her father has temporary control of her finances right now and he is moving in with her to help during the recovery process.

Brittney's doctor says she will do fine IF she continues to take the medicine prescribed for her.

yeah........... britney is a human being who is suffering in front of all us. i hope she's adequately dx'ed, so that she can begin on her path toward healing. once she heals, she can become a very strong personality.

in my non official professional opinion britneys mental illness, Miss Britney is suffering from the pressures of fame and fortune. Hers is a common story in children who grow up in the limelight. She is a byproduct of the industry. Such a shame.

I do believe that is what her father is going to be there for... to help her thru it all - from beginning to end.

I know my husband stepped in and took control of my meds when I was suicidal.
