I'll put up the string lights. (I realize that sounds like a crappy job but I actually had a lot of fun putting up my own) And because this is virtual, I've already finished.

I'll supply a tree that expands to hold all the ornaments we want to add.

What say we each post about our favorite ornament and add it to the tree?

I'll go first! My favorite ornament is a brass teddy bear that is engraved Love, Grandaddy on it's tummy. I always polish it when I take it out and it catches the lights of the tree.

I'll also bring the eggnog with/without nog as you desire. But extra nutmeg for topping it off.

This year my favorite ornament was made by my granddaughter. It’s a poster board ornaments that she painted with pink paint.

The only ornaments I have right now are the ones I got from Walmart. If I could though I'd like to make ornaments with pictures of my last 3 cats (I don't have them anymore ) and my mom (she passed in 2016) Those would be special to me.

I'll also bring some peanut butter fudge and chocolate fudge. Maybe white chocolate fudge too. And my DVD of the Yule log

Oh and some celery that has cream cheese on it with chopped olives in it. It's really good, my mom always made that on holidays for one of our appetizers

We got extra homemade treats from the senior center today. One of which was a seven layer bar, I’d forgotten how good those are. So I’ll bring seven layer bars. And I’ll bring a desert mum used to make that everybody loved. It’s corn flakes with marshmallows melted over it, dyed green and shaped into wreaths.

Thank you for starting this thread, Raging Vortex

I'm not much of a cook, but I bake a very nice idiot-proof bundt. I'll bring a chocolate-zucchini and a pumpkin bundt.

I'm sorry, Lizardlady, I'll have to think harder about the ornament I could add to your tree

Anyone else up for watching It's A Wonderful LIfe? A Charlie Brown Christmas?

What's your favourite holiday movie or special?
Thanks for this!

Those are great and I watch the Charlie Brown Christmas every year so definitely!

Some of my favorite holiday movies are Home Alone 1&2, the Grinch (the one with jim carrey), Disney's a Christmas Carol (also has Jim Carrey in it)
and the Polar Express.

There's so many great movies. And the chocolate-zucchini and the pumpkin Bundt cakes sound great!

Knock knock... I’m here with Buffalo Chicken Dip and latkes and jelly donuts! I just made that for a real Hanukkah party we had, only 6 people outside. My friend made rum cake! The dip is her recipe and it’s soooo gooood. Dig in! Tonight’s the last crazy night. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Oh my gosh! All of that sounds sooo good, TishaBuv I'm getting a napkin and plate right now!

Blue Bird Polar Express is definitely a must watch for me each year, one of my favourites. I loved the animated Grinch though, with Boris Karloff doing the narration, I just watched it last week and I felt 8 years old again I haven't seen the one with Jim Carry yet, so I look forward to that.

I'll bring the green bean casserole and hot chocolate with marshmallows. I would love to watch It's a Wonderful Life! I would also love Home Alone. That's one of my favorite Christmas movies. I'll bring some music too. How about Mariah Carey's Christmas album?

I used to love trimming the tree as a kid with my family.

The ornament I will bring was actually a gift to me this year, from my aunt. Its a wooden angel. She kinda looks like she's dancing. Very whimsical-looking.

I love angels. I have all sorts on my tree. I’ll bring one of each kind. What topper should we use? A star?

How about a gold lighted star, or would you rather have one of the led changing colors types? Or a red one, or real crystal?
