This was a really powerful message he sent out. I watched his stand up he did where he spoke to an audience. It was very powerful and it was great to see that it can be done and people can over come obstacles no matter how daunting.

I discovered this three sleepless nights ago. There was a radio show with only spoken word and poetry; they played is "My Darling Sara". I've been listening to many of his performances and videos since that moment. I've been crying all the time. Never before have I truly realized that I was not the only kid to grow up this way and that now, nearing 50, I finally see I'm not alone on that tightrope. There is so much wisdom, so much empathy in this poem that I can't help but cry, and am drawn to it time and again. So I stopped sleeping altogether. And I'm crying, but it's a good way of crying. I am no longer alone and that touches me ...
