Has anyone watched either the UK or US versions of THE OFFICE? I have rented all the seasons of both UK and USA on DVD on Netflix. I think it's pure genius, and now with the writers' strike, there will be no new episodes.

I've watched the UK version, which I didn't grok. But I devotedly watch the US version. It's hysterical. Do you like both versions?

DOH...I liked both versions! I'm watching the UK version of the last "reunion" this evening. I think Ricky Gervais is a genius. Give it a chance.

I like a lot of the UK versions of comedies, but they don't seem to translate as well to the U.S. With a few exceptions, Queer as Folk comes to mind.
I do love the UK version of Office, but found the US version lacking. I love Graham Norton, but his US version of the show really sucked.

I'm all about dry British humor, but the UK version is a little too slow for me. I got the DVD set for Christmas. I'm sure that much of it is hilarious but they mumble so much that it's hard to catch. Totally dig the US version, though!
