I am so relieved. I have been looking for a room mate for months and have been having no luck, since COVID is messing up the rental market, and I'm not in the best transit location so it's been challenging.
But yesterday, a friend I know from AA mentioned that she's leaving her husband and needed a furnished place. She really likes my neighborhood so we talked about it, and she's moving in on Mon. This is huge, because I'd held onto the apartment for as long as I possibly could and if I hadn't found someone I'd have had to move out end of June, and do a major downsize. Things are really starting to look up in my life. splitimage

So glad you found a roommate! I know in some cities it's not really affordable to live alone.

LOL on the cat question. No she doesn't have a cat, but she does have a small dog. Not sure what the breed is, just that she has one and it's small. Guess I'll find out what it's like to live with a dog. splitimage

After having been only a cat person, my impression of dogs was, here is a cat that LISTENS and obeys! Um, maybe participates, rather than obeys.
