Some time ago I found out that cakes, cookies, etc. can be ordered from some bakeries that do mail order. They pack the stuff so it stays fresh. Once a friend sent a King Cake to me from New Orleans, during Mardi Gras. Pretty awesome! And the cake was entirely fresh.

Confetti/birthday cake for sure. Whenever I am in the grocery store I look for that one first. I also like chocolate fudge, lemon pound cake, cheesecake, crepe cake.
