So I'm guessing the pet forum was voted down since I don't seem to see it... anyhow I bought this comb called the shed ender for my cats.. they absolutely HATE the tickler brush I have and run and hide whenever I get it out. This brush works 10 times better, makes thier coats super soft and does not hurt them like I think the tickler does. It's so satisfying to get big clumps of dead fur and have them purring while I'm doing it! It works on dogs too and you can get it at wal-mart for 6 bucks.

I've seen that advertised on TV. I only have one cat with long hair that would benefit from it but she only lets people touch her head, not her body very long/often, or you feel the wrath of her rapier claws Great pet comb
