What did you learn today?

I was reading my Medical Terminology book and I learned tampon truly is a medical etiology term meaning "to stop, block'

And that there are tampons for other parts of the body.

Mind. Blown!

I just thought Tampon was like a brand name for an object used during menstruation.

What did you learn today?

I learned that brittle starfish exist and “dance” quite erratically in the water. Funny creatures

I don't see how 10 inch heels are possible! I used to sometimes wear 2 inch heels but now I always wear flats. And I am 5'2".

Learnt the expression `Through and through’. I listened to it for the second time and couldn’t get the meaning through even through the context.

I have just forgotten, lol!
It means something like (from side to side, from the beginning of something to the end of it).

I learnt today one of the most relevant things I have learnt ever.
I have just written it on my journal.
Literally, I wrote: I have to be more compassionate with others, more understanding. No matter what, I can’t change people. It’s their right and it’s up to me how to handle it.

I know, you all know this. I read it many times, and I believe it but nonetheless, I didn’t get to put it into practise. Now, it’s a fact in my life. I mean, I got to make it a real learning.

yeah, my feet are so small. 6 inch heels are about the tallest I would be able to wear. And I can't walk in them.

Theres a "concerning" meteor the size of the empire state building thats gonna hurdle past earth in a few hours. NASA says theres no danger but its only a few million miles away and I guess the distance is enough for it to be considered "concerning"
