I mean, now they sell cars that do it for you, so it IS a thing, right?

Its like, when are people ever feminists? Yeah, when they have to admit a chick did something outstanding (Cough like parallel park!) Then theyre all, "ooh, dont say chick, its not PC."
Well I can't afford those fancy cars like a lot of people.....The haves and the have nots, yet again. Cameras, keyless locks, etc. My car is old but in good shape as I don't have a lot of miles on it for its age.

You carry a hangar with you? I wouldn't know how to open the door with one! I'd have to call AAA, LOL.

Construction workers have a reputation for whistling and staring.

No I got the hanger from the babysitter. When they saw me headed to the car with a hanger is when they started thinking, chick is going to need help. Ha ha. I don’t think hanger work in cars since the 2000’s. Now you need codes or something, I really don’t know how they do it any more.

Actually when I was locked out and called roadside assistance, they did use something that looked similar to a wire hanger.

I didn’t know they did that any more. I do know you can’t call the police anymore, they won’t unlock cars anymore. They did in the eighties though. A different time when my daughter was still a baby I left her in the car while I ran the video back in the store and locked her in. The store called 911 as my car was still running they did send a really nice cop to unlock it for me. Yeah, really dumb, what can I say, mom brain.

I think so for me too, around 2001 or so. But it was so long ago, so can't remember exactly. But I do know my car isn't sophisticated enough for codes, whatever that is, LOL.
