Anyone know how to stop emails from them? Just got a email from quora with a question that's left me furious and I want to stop them emailing me

Someone posted on quora a question about whether or not a vet will put down their (perfectly healthy) puppy - the reason? They are moving and can't take puppy to new place

It's awful enough having a much loved SICK pet put down, like my angel Ebony

Their question reminds me of when I volunteered in cat rescue, one owner wanted the vet to put down a 14 year old cat, simply cause they took on a kitten and 14 year old hated the new kitten, so instead of rehoming the kitten, they decided to ask the vet to put down the 14 year old healthy cat

Ugh I'm getting caught up in a rage now

@willowtigger I am sorry this is such a triggering issue for you. I agree that stopping the emails would make sense.

Usually sites will only send emails to people who have signed up for an account. If you know your account at Quora and the password, sign in and look for a link to settings or preferences and unselect email notices.

They usually have links if you do not remember your username (might be email) or password you can reset it

If none of these work, you could just delete any quora emails you get.

Hope you have success in ending these emails.

I was on Quora for a short time. I just pushed the "unsubscribe" link and didn't get anymore feeds from them. Personally it was OK at first but I got very tired of it. There seemed to be too much to read plus quite a few were replying to me telling me how wrong I am. Life is too short to have people putting me down.

Scroll to the bottom of the email. There is usually an "unsubscribe" option to click on & it removes your email address from their send to list

No one trick or treats out in the country. Farms can be 1/4 mile apart & some driveways are a mile long to get to the house. Everyone does their trick or treating in town as businesses are open on main street especially to hand out candy & let kids dress in costumes

I'm so sorry you have those rotten, awful thoughts in your mind about those sick, sick people. The good thing is that vets won't do anything to a healthy animal. They will help rehome a mis-treated pet. GGGGGRRRRRR people can be so revolting sometimes.

I was getting tons of just stupid emails from Quora...I think I just "unsubscribed" to the thread or stopped following certain groups. Quora can be good for some things, but I don't like when people get mean. Also, I have a post from years ago about having encountered a serial killer in 1969 and it ended up getting thousands of likes. OMG. Enough.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
