Trying to figure something out

What would humans look like if the dinosaurs had never all died when they got all hit on their heads by the meterorite

Most mammals during dinosaur times were small, the biggest about the size of a cat. It's possible mammals would have continued to evolve if dinosaurs remained the dominant species, but I don't think they would have ever become people

The land on Earth back when dinosaurs first appeared, according to a documentary I been watching, was called Pangea or Panjea not sure of spelling

How do they know what it was called? Humans were not around then?
Thanks for this!

They just guessed the name and the existence based on how they think the land moved. The name just means 'All Land' in Greek. Pan Gea.

I was thinking that if humans did evolve and managed to develop a society with dinosaurs still around, they might find a way to domesticate them. Maybe the Flintstones wouldn't be so far fetched.

Willow, Harry Harrison, a science fiction author, wrote a set of books called the West of Eden trilogy. The premise of the stories is the dinosaurs survived and became the dominant species. Humans servants to the dinosaurs. I read the first book way back in the day and really liked it.

They guess by how the bones are shaped that they probably sounded like big birds.

If I remember my sesame street, Big Birds do snore, and usually sleep with teddy bears

Well, we'd probably look like Barney the dinosaur in the end. We'd just blend in with the other dinosaurs except we'd be purple, you see.

Dinosaurs was reptiles though, we're mammals, unless i'm talking nonsense

Yeah you're right, willow. There is actually a school of thought in science which says pretty much exactly that. Interesting questions, yes.

I read that just before the big KT extinction event (meteorite), there was actually small, quite intelligent mammal sized dinosaur which could've been a prime candidate to dominate the Earth like man did. But alas it wasn't to be.
