Does anyone know of a free online gardening (especially flowers) game that isn't too complicated (kind-of low tech)?
Thank you ![]()

That sounds like a great game.
But I get to do that in real life! And the only game I have online is the Chromebook no-wifi dinosaur game. |

Thank you, LL and thanks, TheGal! I'll check those out.
Many years ago I played an online game, it was a farm with crops, but also flowers. I found it not only fun, but calming and it lifted my spirits. But for the life of me, I cannot recall how I found it.

I do gardening in real life and online too. There is a match three game called garden tales. It is a very simple game and I find it very relaxing. As levels go higher it takes a bit of time to finish it.I found out it increases my focus too.It is free online.I think it is more appropriate for children. That satisfies my inner child I guess.

Thank you so much, Mending. It looks like a fun game, and yes- good for mental activity and focus.

And it has a nice background music too. While playing I find my body moving to its rhythm, which is enjoyable too.

That's wonderful! My son grows succulents. I've tried having an indoor plant, but my cats eat them. I do not have a green thumb, but I might get a geranium to set outside my front door. They're hardy plants.

In short, you start small, and you do kill a lot of plants at first, but you learn about one plant or one type of plant, and then get familiar, and then add on to knowledge. I started with succulents, and learned enough about succulents that I moved on to perennials, but while caring for plants I learned about the effects of weather, different soil, temperature, and the proper use of water and drainage.
But I started caring for plants in high school and killed all my plants from neglect or over-watering. Since I've been on my own, I've really been enjoying gardening. You can be like my mom who can care for two plants and that's it, or you can learn to grow a garden with all different kinds of plants. My garden is fairly simple, succulents and perennials and most are in pots, and what can be complicated about my garden is I live in a coastal town where the weather can be very tricky. I just love my plants! ![]() |

Aw, that is so fabulous @LiteraryLark! I can tell you love your plants.
![]() In the house where I grew up the yard was very large. My mom was mentally ill, but when she was gardening she was peaceful and focused. Being in the gardens was where I found joy in my childhood.
