Classes resumed in most local school districts today. It was only a month post-retirement when classes resumed last year. I wondered if I would miss it. Gave it about a nanoseconds worth of thought before going on with life.

This year? I did the Snoopy happy dance that I don't have to deal with that shlt anymore! People keep asking if I'm still happy I retired or am I bored. Are they daft? I am enjoying the "heck" out of this!

No need to apologize. I was a therapist who worked with kids at risk of becoming involved withe the juvenile justice system. I was based in the schools. The intensity of my workload followed whether the kids were in school or not. Things were slow over the summer and picked up when school resumed.

Congratulations on your retirement, and enjoy! I can totally understand doing a happy dance.

Ah. Gotcha. That sounded like a difficult job. Good of you to work with these kids and steer them in the right direction. The world needs more of that.
