Hi, this is a random question: I think shoes are the simplest part of our outfit but they say a great deal about ourselves... do you agree?
--> What's your favorite shoe brand? Or if I may rephrase... If you were a shoe, what kind of shoe would you be? Thanks! PS. I feel like muddy sandals sometimes XD, but to me NB shoes are the real deal, eg. Just a moment...

@MrAbbott thanks for posting. Shoes are so basic I am not concerned with styles so I wear black sneakers.
Comfort is the only way I judge foot wear. @CANDC

I like my Nike panda dunks because they go with everything I own, and I do admit I'm a sucker for trends.

Black & White as well? That's classy and it sure goes well with everything. Thanks Mountain! I also don't like to risk it with too many colours... grey and white are my favorite choices...

. I wear men’s leather sandals most of the year. Crocs and boots in inclement weather. When I must dress up I have nice looking leather shoes and a few dresser looking sketchers.

Thanks Nammu. Heard sketchers are very comfy as well. I have a single pair of leather boots for winter but cleaning and oiling them takes more time than with regular shoes that I can put directly in the wash (putting shoes in the washing machine is not bad, right? XD). Tc.

So the thing is, if it's going to be fashionable, it needs to be something that is going to last a long time, and also benefit my high arched feet in comfort. But as of now I'm broke af have to stick with basic comfortable, inexpensive shoes to wear.

I usually wear canvas high top sneakers, no brand. If the weather is being weird and I need traction I'll wear army boots. I have multiple sclerosis so I just try and find something I can walk in (no heels, flipflops etc).

Do you guys mean Skechers or other brand or type of shoes?
Well, same here, I wear Skechers too. In fact, two of all my minimalist shoes collection are from Skechers. Mostly I wear my comfy no-brand sandals for short distance. If I‘m going for a long walk, I wear that Skechers sneakers. I also have flats and heels for more fancy and formal attire. Sadly, cute shoes are never comfortable. |

Strictly a sneakers girl here. I'm lucky that at work nobody cares how we dress since it's all on the telephone. So I get away with dressing casually and wearing sneakers all the time.

Vans is one of my faves, for 'casual'. But seldom colour black... for anything. Don't like black upper sole or white sole. Very very finicky 😉

I don't own any formal shoes anymore... black sneakers and jeans do the trick if I have to attend some formal celebration... well, maybe I should improve my social life and go to the theater, etc. but that's another matter... black sneakers are always a solid bet ![]()

On my farm, my go to are "Muck" boots for outside & wear them if I need to run to down for a quick errand I don't have time to clean up for. For quick outside stuff I use crocks with socks. Lol.....gotta keep the dang bugs from biting & crawling up my legs (chiggers) so wear shoes that don't mind bug repellant on them.
For nice or nice casual I bought an awesome pair of leather Dansko shoes that have lasted me at least 13 years now.....but I use them only when I "have to clean up good" for something more social....lol

Clarks leather shoes and boots are very comfy. I do like Skechers but they don’t last. All Birds, I only have one pair, very comfy but they don’t make wide sizes so I have to take insole out which defies the purpose. If they made wide, I’d bought more. I like UGS in the winter but not inside, too warm. I change them to shoes when arrive to work. In the summer I wear Sketches flip flops. They are the best. Or Skechers sneakers. I also like Reebok sneakers but not all of them fit well. So it’s hit or miss.

Really the only times I step outside my house I'm wearing my hiking boots (Vasques and I'm a fan), Crocs, or my trail-runners (Merrells and I can't wait until I've put enough miles on them to have an excuse to buy a new pair).

I love shoes. I`ve worn Converse for a very long time. I also love boots and oxfords. I just recently got some cute platform loafers. I don`t like sandals or high heels very much. I also have a few pairs of Vans too.

I rarely need to dress up, so I live in sneakers. I normally buy Adidas because their sizes seem to be very standard and I can buy them online. I live in a pretty rural area with few shopping options, so I prefer to order online. I made the mistake of deviating from Adidas and buying some Reeboks online last year. They didn't last at all. It wasn't very long before they started to make my feet hurt. I went back to Adidas to replace them, a really cool design with dark green and gold - Springboks rugby colors!
