So i hope this thread doesn't come off as too philosophical. I follow the syncromysticism movement on the web and came up with this saying from another friend whoi says it differently. Ive been through hell dealing with my sanity and trying to survive. I grew up being abused by peers, bullies. In high school, started using drugs, but luckily i was doing them with smart people, studious and interesting conversations arose while delving into the maw of my own psyche.
This saying "talk to your ego, i mean that if you can achieve it, psychoanalyze yourself constantly. Find the meaning of your sanity, a combination of logic, reason, sensibility and a will to live positively with yourself and others, and when you get feelings that dont jive with these things, have a little chat in your mind with your ego from that healthy center inside yourself. Walk with your heart simply means always be gentle, loving, caring, and giving with others and especially with yourself. I was going to a write a book called "how to train your ego" but i found this short statement summed up the run-on sentences i would write in the book.

I really like this insilence;
Mine would be - do unto others as you would have done unto you = not in any kind of religious sort of way (although it does yes certainly indeed) = because I could find a passage from any religion that would pertain to this phrase so it's not doctrinal specific - I just view this more as a way of life. |
