Its a new Tik Tok trend to ask someone out of the blue how often they think of the Roman Empire.

I'd say I think about it 2-3 times a month.

What about you?

Greece rocks XD, but I also think of the Roman Empire... once a month or every time I see an aqueduct.

Me, being into basic general history, I probably think about the Romans (among other people's) more than I'd like to admit. But it's interesting to the thinking man! lol

Is this a trick question? Lol Unless I read something historical about it or watch something about it, I don’t think about Roman Empire at all

It would depend, I just watched an episode about Pompeii of Dr Who - it was great actually and recently someone reminded me that a nearby town has a Roman name (it was a fort settlement). A few weeks ago I watched the old movie Anthony and Cleopatra with Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor . So I thought about the Roman Empire at least 3 times this last month.
Thanks for this!

I’ve been to a very impressive Pompeii exhibit at British museum probably like 10 years ago. It was the most impressive exhibit. So many details. I guess I think of Roman Empire when I see a magnet from that exhibit. It’s on my fridge

I never think about the Roman Empire. Sometimes I think about what it would be like to be in the ring for the Colosseum battles, but I'm not sure if that's the same era.

Honestly, I really don't know if the movie 300 is in the Roman empire, but it might be. My mom watches that one a lot.

EDIT: So if the movie 300 is set in the Roman Empire era, that would be the only time I'd think of it.

I don't think of the Roman Empire much, but sometimes I do when I look at American politics. Also, saw Gladiator the other day, so I thought about it a lot.

What a random question - but interesting one too.

Also when I see an aqueduct. They are scattered throughout Europe, where I now live.

Lately, more than I'd like. In the form of analogy-like musings having to do with my thoughts on the state of recent US politics and culture. America - 'New Rome'...rise/fall...wasn't built in a day...fell in record time etc etc. Pardons for the bucket of bleak on that. I see LadyShadow commented on it too. It gets mentioned in that way quite a bit these days. Sad to have to answer with that. Continue with fun please!

I'm thinking about the Fertile Crescent Region.

Each time I think about the historical role women were given. Also in the classic Greek. It’s unbelievable how misogyny was your daily bread.
