A big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs in the big yellow Pyrex bowl. All the aunties had one when i was growing up, to serve chicken soup or pasta. I didnt realize it was Pyrex. I envisioned my dad and his brother, who did all the grocery shopping for their families, choosing the bowls at the supermarket, or Montgomery Ward's, along with the china. I always wondered by what incredible coincidence the two families ended up with the same patterns.

I'll bring mashed sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce to go with Liz's turkey.

Got a spiral cut ham I found in the fridge this morning.

Anyone up to some games? 10,000. Anybody. Super easy.

Well it’s been a quiet Christmas this year. Hope everyone is resting and sleeping off their meal.

I'm a little late but I'm bringing bottles of sparkling grape juice. Nice and safe with meds and tastes quite good. My nieces love it because they get to use "fancy glasses" with it.

Merry Christmas or Happy Hannukah or Happy Holidays to all!

My call the midwife just ended. I thought it was pretty good. I missed a lot of the dialog though. My closed captioning wasnt working.

Ohh I’m so sorry, you missed so much of the dialogue. My captioning was working on this channel. Oooo the tears! Every-time it just gets me in the gut. I thought it was lovely. Holy cow, almost 1970! I’ve seen every episode. I think they have a 99% chance of me crying. The writers are so fabulous and the actors perfect.
