Omg, I am soo late with this, in two minutes it will be September 9th lol - but on September 8th, 1966 the first episode of Star Trek the Original Series was aired.
Happy 58th Anniversary Star Trek!!

So, nowhere is there any mention of this online or in the news that I have seen today, but I just wanted to mention that today is Star Trek Day!!
Planning on spending the day watching a bunch of Star Trek and bolding going nowhere, lol,

I remember watching on a saturday afternoon and trying to tell my mother about the importance of this show, and she just completely blew me off. And that just hung out there, like a giant enchilada. I didnt get mad, i didnt feel bad - i just had no place to go, no place to be, except maybe inside the television set. I loved Checkov so bad! Omg, even now, ya know, there was a boy in high school who looked like him that i see on facebook, and there is still that warm feeling, that SHOULD have been attachment and attention with mom.
