Does anyone know if the price of stamps are going up next month

or in April or May. I tried calling my local post office but they

gave me a toll free # with automated teller and was unable to get

through to a customer service rep or operator?

thanks
ziggy

You can also buy the "Forever" stamp now at the *current price, and it will be good regardless of the increases in price. So stock up now, if you plan any big mailings in the future. Is Postage going up March lst, April or May?

*not sure of the current cost per stamp.

What's good about the Forever stamp is it tides one over as they never have enough penny/transition stamps to make up for the price change and the run on the post office to get new stamps and I always end up wasting two stamps just to get enough on an envelope I need to mail in a hurry :-)

Current cost is 41 cents and it's going to 42 cents.

Buy the Forever stamp; it doesn't have an "amount" on it and is good for as long as you have that stamp no matter what the price of stamps has gone to. Maybe I'll buy and "save" one for a particular date or particular bill in 2037 or something, LOL.

I still remember when stamps were 4 cents. That's how much they were when I would write my grandmother thank you notes for presents, birthday and Christmas, etc.
