I cleaned my apartment today and needed to vaccumm. (she got so scared the first time she heard the vaccumm cleaner she pooped on the floor!) I moved the cat house to the far corner and put their bed in it so they'd have a place to hide. I brought out the vaccumm cleaner and they ran away and thought they had hid. Well, I was vaccuming and came around behind the couch and there my kitten was curled up pressed as flat as she could to the floor and was shaking. She was so terrified she couldn't even move! I had to turn off the vacumm cleaner because I felt soo badly. I picked her up and she pushed her little body against me so hard and was shaking vigorously. I held her and pet her and then put her in the hidey tent and finished vaccumming. About 10-15 minutes later my big cat emerged, 45 minutes later my kitten was still shaking and hiding I took her out and held her until she began to purr again. She still hid for the rest of the afternoon. It was soo funny, but I felt so bad... she was terrified!

that reminds me though, today i had my hamster in her ball and my mom was vacuuming my room. My hamster started chasing the vacuum. It was so funny. You would think she would be afraid of it! My dog always runs away from the vacuum and barks.
