Leonard Cohen is my all time favourite poet and he's an amazing songwriter. He's touring Canada this spring / summer. All three shows were sold out completely in my city. But I was able to get a ticket to his second show (newly added to the tour) in Hamilton which is about an hours drive away. I can't wait 'til June I'm so excited.

I read his last book of poetry when I was IP last summer (seemed appropriate) and loved it.

I love Leonard Cohen! I wish he would come here. Although I wonder what he's capable of at 73. Then again, it's not like he ever had a really amazing voice, LOL. But his voice is secondary to his lyrics, for me. Love him.

Have fun at the show and be sure to at least take cell phone photos and post them so we can live vicariously through you. I got a ticket to see Leonard Cohen

I love him too. You're so lucky being Canadian. I think he's just doing Canada and Europe this tour?

Yes, you are very lucky! I also love the songs of Leonard Cohen. When I was in collage back in the late '60's/'70's, my boyfriend sent me an album of his...with a woman in flames. "Sisters of Mercy," and "I Lit a Thin Green Candle" (to make you jealous of me) come to mind!
Also, the soundtrack for the classic film McCABE AND MRS. MILLER with Warren Beatty was by Cohen. A classic "western" with wonderful soundtrack.
I can't wait to hear more about your experience and reviews of the concert.
