i know this is not just down the country, but as we have a shared garden, which had four rabbits living in it we have a rat problem we managed to clean garden up removed sons rabbit cage to diferant area and put some bait under it , all the other rabbits are gone to late for them,

we also had some visting our shed which opens into court of neighbour and her sheds there, this is the only place to keep our rubish untill rubish collecting day, so a friend has lent us a large metal drum with a lid to keep the black refuse sacks in untill we put them out for collection, we brushed out and then scrubbed shed with bleach today, so now we have to just wait and see

if youve got a rat problem, you need a snake....

also try those fake Owls you see in garden centers....they scare off a lot of critters
