since using freecycle i noticed a lot of computer stuff going through their sites, untill i saw a email about a company that repair damaged pcs replacing parts and selling them at cost back to the comunity , so i got in touch with them and told them we had a few bits here they could have
a nice chap called n to pick it up tonight, gone is more clutter

A local computer place collected thousands of tons of old electronics the other day. I say more power to them all. They are breaking them down and recycling. I am pleased to know that in our throw away world that people are actually recycling and re-using.

Old computer and other electronic parts are a controversial topic as they're very much toxic waste if they are just thrown away (and there are beginning to be laws about how to dispose of them):
