Have you watched Prince Caspian yet? How about The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe? Read the Narnia books?

I think the books are incredible, and the movies are great too. Wondering if the symbolism is as clear to everyone as it is to me. Aaslan always has a plan, but he always waits until someone listens to him and follows. There is so much there that we could put into practice in our own lives. It's awe-inspiring and also so humbling. The characters are wonderful, and so real.

I read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe when I was younger, and I saw the movie too. I never really got into the book, but I know it's a classic.

I saw the movie, and I enjoyed it more then the book- the special effects were brilliant.

I may go see Prince Caspian, I had a friend who really enjoyed it. It's gotten good reviews too, I think.

C. S. Lewis ranks up there with J. R. R. and the Lord of the Rings series. Instant classics with an underlying message of hope and inspiration. I loved how Lewis brought out the forgiveness aspect, especially among family. So many people hold on the from family and refuse to receive their apology. And I am hoping to see the characters mature in the next installment.

I have studied CS LEWIS and how he was friend with JRT - they were in a writing group together, helping inspire each other and both wrote their famous stories during this time. JRT did not like how CSL mixed up the mythologies. He would have perferred they stay pure; pick one and stay with it. There is much symbology - and not only specific to one --how shall i say this safely -- to one - ah - Way of viewing.

I do like the movie and have seen it 3 times. I will want to see the next installment.

I read the whole Narnia series in my 20's, late-1960s/early-1970s. Lewis' science fiction series is pretty good too, totally different though.

My favorite C.S. Lewis book is The Great Divorce.

Well, from what I see, Aaslan is a depiction of Christ. I've seen both, and read many of the books. Who hasn't read Pilgrim's Progress too?

I was overwhelmed with the first movie, the second is great also, but I was better prepared for the graphics and design. C.S. Lewis

I love C.S. Lewis, but have not seen any of the movies based on his series, "The Chronicles of Narnia".

His book "A Grief Observed" is also very good.

I read the chronicle of Narnia series as a kid and loved them. I'll probably go see Prince Caspian.

I've read the chronicles by CS Lewis and I've read his Sci-Fi books, too. Also read The Screwtape Letters. Great books! C.S. Lewis

There was a character in one of his Sci-Fi books named "Ransom." It confused me a little at the time, but the name has really stuck with me. I might go back and find which of the books it is and re-read it. It might have been Peralandra, I think.

Yep, I'm aware of all the symbolism. C.S. Lewis

When I was home-schooling my boys, I had to make up a name for "my" school. The boys and I chose "Aslan." LOL I took them out to lunch on my birthday and the waitress asked why they were out of school. Told her they went to private school and the "principal" had declared a day off. She asked what school they went to so I told her, Aslan. She thought she had heard of it. C.S. Lewis The boys and I could hardly keep a straight face! C.S. Lewis

They are wonderful! I think the last of the books has to be my favorite, but wouldn't have the same impact unless you have read the series. It is so sad, but then it's okay, and it is so amazing, but it really turns out okay. I don't want to say more because I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't read it. If you haven't read the Chronicles of Narnia, I highly recommend them. I think I'm going to have to read them again. And I'm not normally a repeat reader.
