Anyone have a favourite (free) blog that they use?
Rather than post here all the time about my day-to-day life and stuff... I post on a site called LiveJournal. It's great! You can connect with other users based on interests, and join communities and stuff based on interests and things. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to be able to talk about their lives or just have some fun (although you're more than welcome to do it here as well!). There's also the blog section that PC hosts as well which is also free and always fun to read... but if you're looking for more anonymity than posting here... check it out!  PS. For the teenager crowd ... there are a lot of users there as well, it's not just for 20+ people or anything like that.

 Good to know... I do like your blogs, but they're not so easy for reaching people off of the site.

I think that's part of the point of having a free blog with Psych Central?

PsychCentral uses WordPress and you can get a free WordPress blog if you don't just want PsychCentral's
http://wordpress.com/ but the main difference is the software is on the PsychCentral servers rather than on the WordPress ones (or LiveJournal ones, etc.) and, since it's their software, it gets updated more often than DocJohn downloads it :-) But you can choose searches and feeds and stuff from the rest of the Web like anybody else's blog software. It's not really connected with the site (psychcentral.com), just offered/maintained by the site (psychcentral.net). I have a private one at WordPress (have to log on to even see it :-) as well as my one here, http://keepingtabs.psychcentral.net Another good free site is Google's Blogger: https://www.blogger.com/start

I love to blog. I am a retired -- due to PTSD -- writer, and this is an opportunity to keep my creative muscle alive, minus the pressure of deadlines.
I have found WordPress to be the best of all the blogs I tried. It has the largest community of bloggers and it is easier to make friends that way.

I tried to set one up here but it never wants to take the password I have been given, I tried to copy/paste it but it will not let me in, I have reset it twice with no luck. I might give this word press a shot.

I have kept a blog for about 4 years now omg. Lol.
At first, I had it at livejournal.com but since I also do my own layouts and stuff, I moved to blogger.com because of it's flexibility. I love to blog i just never get a chance because i don't like to blog on the family computer..I dont' want my parents to be able to find stuff I write..I'm very parinod about them. I have one here..I haven't gotten a chance to blog in quite awhile..Livejournal..I'm actually working on getting one set up..but my dial up connection is really slow..I will definatly blog more when I get my laptop in July.
