I like to walk when it's cool in the evening or late at night, and luckliy, I live where I can do this. Rounding the block for the first time, "Old Kitty," who has been with me for over 10 years came up beside me as I made my way nearing the end of the block. I couldn't believe he had followed me all the way, but, low and behold, he followed me a second time around. He's a ragamuffin old thing, and I noticed also, that upon the first round that my two yonger Maine Coon cats were sitting by the door of my house inside watching. Aren't cats something else!
This old cat, I must add, actually, I feel, saved my life, many years ago, when a stalker was outside my house and he alerted me. Yeah, he's ragtag, and won't let me cut the knots from his fur, but he's really special!

<font color="purple">Awwww.
I love all cats, (even the hairless ones!) but the Maine Coon breed is especialy my favorite.

My kitty is a mixed breed, but I think she is at least partialy Maine Coon just because she has some of the traits like how she loves to play fetch and play with water, is very intelligent, and I think she has a pretty big build...even though she's not so big herself.

Cats are very special and loving creatures. One of mine is 22 years old, and when I'm talking on the phone he almost always comes over and meows into the receiver.

Thanks for the late night responses, y'all, about kitties! My Maine Coons promptly went outside when I returned from my walk, and "old kitty" came in with me, and is ready to sleep with me.
Love

Yes, Nightbird! They say Ragdolls just flop around when you pick them up, loving to be held and petted!
Seems cats are the only pets I can handle lately....such independent creatures!
