I have applied at a state psych hospital here in Ky. I am not sure how healthy this might be but.......I want the job! i would simply be providing direct care. This hospital serves those with serious mental illnesses, substance abuse issues and mentally retarded adults. I have 16 months experience in field of direct care with MR adults. Now, I quit that job while I was manic...so it doesn't look good. But, I do know that Central loves hiring people from my previous employer because it is the #1 healthcare provider in my state for MR.
Anyone think I have a chance??

might i add.....no one knows that i was 'manic'...i dont get your typical mania. i simply tell people i couldnt handle the deaths of recent residents...which is 40% true.

As long as your supervisors at the other place were happy with you and your condition is under control and all that good stuff, I don't see why you shouldn't have a chance?
