I wish it wasn't so dark in my laundry room so I could take a picture of Tyger in his lair. He likes my dryer. When I get done drying my clothes I open the dryer so it can cool off and I can take out my clothes without burning my hands. Well Tyger likes the warmth of the clothes and he hops in there and goes to sleep on the warm clothes. Well heck even if they aren't warm he sleeps in the dryer on the clothes. The only way to get him out is to start the washer I guess the vibration of the washer on the side of the dryer bothers him so he hops out and comes in the living room and pouts because he was bothered and had to get out of the dryer.

Silly cat!

I hope he's safe in there.. I don't think I'd let my cat in one of those things.

We used to have to stop my cat smithy from sleeping on the coals after a fire. He would sit right up to the fire when it was properly alight, and if we left it open, he would have slept right in the fireplace, on the smouldering coals.

I know he's in there and I don't live with any one so he's not in danger of anyone turning on the dryer. He is safe.

That reminds me of a story I heard about a cat who was in a dryer when it got turned on...when the door was opened, he took off like a shot. Poor kitty.

When my siblings and I were younger, we had kitties that liked to sleep on the hoods of our parents' cars just after they'd returned from a trip, because they liked the warmth.
